If I have to miss a class, can I make it up later?

If you miss a class, you may be able to make up the class by attending another class. Make up classes are not guaranteed, but are generally offered as a courtesy to our students. Missed classes must be made up within the current session and are subject to availability. Please speak with your instructor to make arrangements.

I’d like to spend more time in the studio. Can I do that?

Absolutely! If you currently a student with us or are a studio member, you can book extra studio time at $25 / 3-hr block. You can sign up for open studio time here.

How expensive is it to fire a mug?

Well, that depends on how big your mug is. Our firing fees are $0.03 per cubic inch for bisque firings and $0.03 per cubic inch for glaze firings. An espresso cup (a dainty 2” x 1.5” x 1.5”) costs a total of $1.00 to fire, while an enormous mug that holds a kettle of tea (measuring a mighty 8” x 7” x 6” - remember that handle!) could cost $20.16 to fire. That said, your average coffee cup (5”H x 4”W x 3”D) costs just $3.60 to fire.

What’s your refund policy?

Refunds requested more than 2 weeks prior to the first class are fully refundable. Refunds requested within 2 weeks of the start of the first class are 50% refundable. The remaining 50% can be used as a credit towards future classes within the next 6 months. Once the session begins, there will be no refunds.

Is there a chance my class will be cancelled?

If a session does not fill sufficiently it may be cancelled 1 week prior to the first scheduled. You will receive a full refund.
