Kids Clay + Craft

Cost per person, per session is:

$450/Weekly Half Day - 9AM-12Pm or 12PM-3PM

$800/Weekly Full Day - 9Am - 3PM

THE EXPERIENCE:

Join us for a fun, hands-on experience where your kids can create their own unique pottery piece.

Making Sessions: we’ll explore using different hand-building techniques to craft a one of kind hand-built piece.

Please send your kids with a nut free lunch & snack.

PLEASE NOTE:

Pottery is a slow craft that requires patience and staging. It will take approximately 4-5 weeks to complete and be ready for pickup. The work must dry slowly to prepare for the first firing, the bisque firing. This takes approximately 2-3 weeks. Once the work has been bisque fired (a 3 day process including a pre-heat, soak, slow firing, and 24 hr cooling cycle) it is then ready for the glaze firing (a 2 day process of firing and cooling). Pieces will then be dipped in either clear or white and will be ready for pickup.

Our storage space is limited. Work must be collected within 2 months from the date of the class or may be discarded. You may not receive an email when pieces are ready. Feel free to email us with photos of your work to check in on the status before pickup.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY:

Notify hello@uptown-clay.com at least 48 hours prior to the class to receive a refund or to reschedule your class. There are no refunds for cancellations or no-shows within 48 hours of the scheduled class.
