Teen Wheel / Hand-building Class

In our teen group classes we begin with the basics of creating pottery through wheel techniques. For new students we begin by orienting you to our facility and offer instruction on the process of creating pottery through wheel techniques, wedging, centering, forming a piece, trimming, handles, and glazing. After reviewing the basics we tailor each classes to guide students with techniques based on their interests, moving into combining, altering forms, and hand-building.

Tools, studio clay bodies, and glazes are included. We carry porcelain, white stoneware, and brown speckled clay.

Cost for the 8 week session is $480. Shorter sessions will be pro-rated accordingly.

Additional fees for our firing service are $0.03 per cubic inch per firing.

Cost: 8 week session - $480 

Makeup Policy: Make-up classess are not guaranteed. We will do our best to accommodate make-ups. Make-up classes must happen during the current session. Students are not guaranteed a wheel for their make-up class.

Cancellation Policy: Refunds are available up to 48 hours before the first class minus a $50 processing charge. Refund requests from 48 hours to the start of the first class are available for 50% of the class fee.  Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds once the class has started.
