Hand-building classes
For new students we begin by orienting you to our facility and offer instruction on the process of creating pottery through hand-building techniques such as pinching, coil, slab, kurinuki, sculpture and combining these forms.
We tailor the class to assist in guiding students in the development of their personal projects and interests..
Tools, studio clay bodies, and glazes are included.
We carry porcelain, white stoneware, and brown speckled clay.
Additional fees for our firing service are $0.03 per cubic inch per firing.
Students may purchase additional time to practice their technique and work on personal projects through our Online Scheduler.
